Immigrants are not the problem

People who pay taxes, build their lives here, and share their culture with America deserve to be treated as Americans. Bigger battles against AI, billionaires, and unlivable minimum wage should be the enemy, not each other.

We are the strongest together.

A community where we know our neighbors, and can rely on each other during hard times like this can only be shown through action and communication. BFC wants to help bridge the gap between communities and create more safe, respectful conversations.

It’s important to celebrate and value our difference through art and music.

These forms of self expression help the most different people understand each other. We are allowed also have a good time! Fighting for what’s right all the time can burn you out, so slow down, it’s okay to remind ourselves what it is we are fighting for.

Trans people have always existed.

Human rights don’t exist for us until it exists for ALL of us. To the members of our community who don’t get appreciated enough, you are seen, your are loved, and you are a walking example of authenticity, love, and courage. Thank you.

No Kings.

What the government does to one of us is what the government will do to you.

No Kings. What the government does to one of us is what the government will do to you.

How Can A Bakery Do All That?

We develop products our community loves so we can eat together. Feedback is important to us, and we are a constantly developing company. As being open to each other drives respect, we dream of having the resources to accommodate to everyone! All of our friends deserve a sweet treat: vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, etc. We want to have something for everyone in the future! And most importantly, we don’t want to upcharge you for it!

We show up for our community. We want to continue to grow our platform and connect with our community at markets, cultural festivals, fundraisers, and PRIDE. We are not only showing that this is where we proudly stand, but we want to always hear what more we can do as a company, directly from those we want to support and want to support us.

We celebrate our community by supporting emerging artists and musicians. For now, it’s through socials and word of mouth, and anywhere we can. In the future, it’s hosting our own fundraisers and hosting drag shows, musical performances, and more! Its also hiring local artists and creating a storefront that will buy/sell local art.

We do our best to source ethically. We want to grow large enough to afford properly sourced items that do not fund violence, aiming to redirect wealth to companies that care and will take the extra time to operate ethically, not just efficiently. We want to slow down the thirst for progress to pay more attention to the process.

We will hold our community accountable. We believe in the power of shared experiences and the magic that happens when people come together with open hearts and open minds. By employing and serving individuals who are kind, respectful, and curious about others, we aim to build a stronger and more inclusive community.

(Warning: You are about to read the word “community” too many times.)
